Hi, I'm Damara. I am the owner and founder of reInspired Weddings + Events, formerly reInspired Bride. I have been in the wedding industry for almost 20 years (as of 2023). I am a wife, mom to 4, and cat mom to two furbabies.
I have been drawn to the wedding world as long as I can remember. Even though I blindly navigated my way through college pursuing everything BUT weddings, the dream of being a part of them never left my mind. In 2003, I took my first step into the wedding industry by accepting a sales position at a local bridal store. This confirmed my love of the industry and I never looked back!
Over the next 10 years, I was given the chance to expand my wedding experience by working in two different bridal stores, a tux shop, a florist shop and coordinating at a local church. Through these experiences, reInspired Bride slowly started to take shape and officially launched in 2014.
WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO.
What isn’t there to love? Every wedding has a new set of people, ideas, and dreams to experience and bring to life. No two weddings are the same and there are always new ways to get creative and make each wedding specific and special to each couple. I love every part and always excited to see what’s next!

Damara is my sister in-law. I started about 12 years ago when we planned my wedding. She helped me with all the planning, decorations and making of the invitations. My wedding wouldn't have gone as smooth as it did without her.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT WEDDINGS?
I love seeing all the love in the air. My most important goal is to make a couple's day to go as smooth as possible. I love to make it as fun and less stressful as possible.

2016- shortly after Damara coordinated my own wedding! I have always loved creating, decorating, coordinating and planning things. I made a lot of DIY decor for my own wedding and friends of mine that had gotten married, I thought this would be a fun side gig for me to get into!

PARTIAL PLANNING - You enjoy planning, but don’t trust yourself to stay on track! You want to plan your wedding, but you don’t know where to start! We know it can be overwhelming. "My husband and I hired Damara and the rest of the team at reInspired bride for day of coordination for our wedding on 9/3/22 (even though it was way more than day of!) and we could not have been happier!! First off, Damara was super easy to work with, accessible, and very responsive. She went out of her way to meet with my husband and I, along with our wedding venue coordinators, on a Sunday afternoon to finalize details. The timeline, coordination, and everything that happened before the actual day of was so smooth and it took a lot off our husband and I's plates so our actual day could be as stress free as possible. Our actual coordinator for the day was Rachel, and let me tell you, she was amazing!!! She ran our rehearsal, and kept everything so smooth, calm, and stress free the day of our wedding.
